I guess I was a bit overzealous with my post last Friday about the upcoming concert at the Town Square in Grand Forks, so here’s a corrected version of what’s actually going on next week.
I got a few things right: the event has a $5 cover charge, and will be held at the Town Square on Friday, Sept. 17. But it’s starting a bit earlier than I thought.
Bands will start performing at 3 p.m., and a beer garden will open at 5 p.m. The music and the beer garden will keep going until midnight, and a food vendor will be on hand if you get hungry during the evening.
Here’s the lineup:
3:00 – Special opening by Kelly Kyle
4:30 – Rome B.C. (formerly Metanoia/Grand Forks Death Metal)
5:15 – The Consumption (Grand Forks Hardcore)
6:00 – 7Kane (Grand Forks Metal)
7:00 – SER (Grand Forks Punk)
8:00 – Symbiont (Grand Forks Alt. Metal)
9:00 - The Mecan’tiks (Grand Forks Rockabilly)
10:00 -Â Aggro Saints (Fargo Punk)
11:00 -Â Rotting Thought (Grand Forks Thrash Metal)
Bismarck band It Came From the Sea may also perform at the concert, but they aren’t confirmed yet. If the band does perform, they will play at 7 p.m. and SER will play around 7:30 p.m.
